Braised Bacon Benedict: This cozy and delectable dish replaced the traditional bread with a bed of potatoes. It featured perfectly poached eggs, thick-cut bacon, and a brown butter hollandaise sauce. The flavours were exceptional, and every bite was a delight.

Chorizo Verde Tostada: With a Mexican twist, this dish stood out as one of the most intriguing we've ever tasted. It consisted of savory chorizo, creamy Avocado crema, Cotija cheese, a fried egg, and pickled pineapple, all served on a toasted tortilla. The combination of the savory chorizo and the sweet pineapple created a fresh and vibrant flavor profile that reminded us of summer. Despite the bistro's underground setting, we felt transported to a beachside location.

The service was exceptional, and we were even allowed to film the chefs in the open kitchen as they prepared our meals. This unique experience made us feel involved in the food preparation process. All the meals were great, but the gnocchi, ahh the gnocchi! It was probably one of the best meals we had in our entire life. The dough just melts in your mouth, the sauce so savoury, so fresh, the porcini brings depth to the flavour and texture to the mouth feel. Just fantastic! We came back the next day and had the gnocchi again. We visited a modern yet cozy steakhouse in Edmonton that also serves brunch and has a coffee shop inside. We had a delicious chicken sandwich with crispy gluten-free buttermilk chicken, a sweet and spicy glaze, and spicy mayo. The steak sandwich featured a medium-well sliced steak, jalapeño hummus, fried egg, scallions, and a demi-glace on gluten-free toast. The standout dish was the savory and slightly sweet butternut squash soup. Instead of fries, we opted for the crispy kale salad, which had fried kale, fresh kale, pickled shallots, potato crisps, garlic dressing, and brie cheese, providing a fresh and interesting flavour.
